Description of Training:
The introductory training in the field of air brakes for commercial vehicles provides the most important basic knowledge about the design and operation of the brake system. In this way, you will learn to accurately identify the most important errors and faults and to competently remove them.

Target group:
Mechanics and mechatronics from truck and trailer services, transport companies, public transport and road service.
Content:
› Connection markings and basic concepts
› Diagrams of pneumatic systems
› Structure and function of conventional braking systems in trucks, buses, trailers and semi-trailers
› Design and operation of the braking system components in trucks, buses, trailers and semi-trailers
› Truck trailer / semi-trailer synchronization
› Practical exercises on the model with the use of measuring devices - setting the braking force and advance regulators by means of the vehicle or trailer valves.
› Conventional air preparation units
› Air suspension and lift axle control
› Introduction to ABS, ASR, EBS and Trailer EBS
› Final test
Goals:
› Participants know the structure of pneumatic systems brake systems as well as the structure and principle of operation of each individual components used in trucks, buses, trailers and semi-trailers
› Participants gain the necessary knowledge to participate in subsequent trainings
Notes:
After passing the final test, participants receive a Certificate of completion of the training
